AIKEN, S.C. – The Converse University Equestrian team finished fourth overall on Saturday afternoon and sixth regionally on Sunday afternoon at the IHSA Regionals at USC Aiken.
 
On Saturday afternoon, Sydney Shipp placed second in the Intermediate on the flat event, Brooke Daniels finished second in the limit over fences event and Megan Booty Placed third in the intro flat event. Grace Baum finished fourth out of 11 riders in the open on the flat event, Baum also finished sixth in the open over fences category. Olivia Liopiros finished fifth in the Intermediate over fences event and qualified for regionals. Josie McDevitt placed third in the intermediate on the flat event and fifth in the over fences event, which qualified her for regionals on Sunday.
 
McDevitt and Liopiros were joined by Shipp and Neely Vander Ploeg on Sunday at the IHSA Regional Show. Liopiros finished fourth in the Intermediate over fences event, Vander Ploeg finished fourth in the Novice flat event. Baum finished fourth in the Cacchione Cup (overall points in the region for the year).
