SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Converse University men's soccer team earned a hard-fought win over North Greenville on Tuesday evening to move to 7-1-1 overall and 5-0 in Conference Carolinas play while the Crusaders fell to 4-4-2 overall and 2-2-2 in conference action.
 
The Valkyries outshot North Greenville 10-3 in the first half even though the score was 1-1 going into the break. Each took four shots in the second half with Jaxon Keene's goal securing the win for Converse.
 
Five Converse players took two shots during the win while David Windmiller tallied up four saves on the night.
