SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Converse University men's soccer team opened up their game against Southern Wesleyan on Wednesday night with back-to-back-to-back goals in the first 10 minutes of the game, the fastest three goals in program history. With the 6-0 win, the Valkyries move to 5-1-1 overall, 3-0-0 in Conference Carolinas play while the Warriors fall to 1-6-1 overall and 0-4-1 in conference action.
 
Converse out shot Southern Wesleyan 16-2 in the first half and 11-2 in the second half for a total of 27 shots coming from the Valkyries. Wesley Bigbee made seven saves throughout the night for Converse even though the home team ran away with the game very early on.
 
Jaxon Keene led the Valkyries with four shots, two goals and one assist on the night while Sergi Quixal stood out with three shots and four assists.
