ANDERSON, S.C. – The Converse University volleyball team lost a pair of games on Friday at Anderson University to drop to 1-3 on the season.
 
Game One: Catawba 3, Converse 0

• Converse recorded 21 kills as a team, 19 assists and 36 digs.
• Maddie Mount led the Valkyries with 5 kills, Megan Carpenter finished second on the team with four and Jasmine Finkley finished with a trio of kills.
• Anna Rabon recorded a trio of aces to finish with a team high, while Finkley recorded a pair of blocks in the match.
• Savannah Ducote finished with seven assists to lead the team, while Mackenzie Schmucker recorded six assists.
• Mackenzie Day led the Valkyries with 18 digs at the libero spot.

 
Game Two: Anderson 3, Converse 0

• Converse recorded 17 kills as a team, 4 blocks, 16 assists and 26 digs.
• Jasmine Finkley and Megan Carpenter tied for the team lead with 5 kills each in the second match.
• Finkley also recorded a team high three blocks and Ducote finished with seven assists once again. Alyssa Graf led the Valkyries with 12 digs against the Trojans.
