2022 (Junior): Started four matches for a total of 12 sets this season...Recorded 14.5 points, 11 kills, 1 assist, 2 service aces, 19 digs, 1 solo block, 1 assisted block and 2 total blocks on the season.
Fall 2021 (Sophomore): Played in 15 matches and made a pair of starts for the Valkyries this season...Recorded 36.5 points, 31 kills, 2 assists, 17 digs and 10 total blocks...Had a season high 8 kills against Lincoln Memorial (9/3/21).
Spring 2021 (Freshman): Played in nine matches this past spring and made three starts for a total of 19 sets...Recorded 22 kills, 5 total blocks and 4 digs this season.
Prep: Was a dual sport athlete in high school and lettered in both volleyball (4) and basketball (5)...Ray recorded 750 career kills and 1,009 rebounds...Ray also finished fourth in the state for most rebounds in one game...Played club volleyball for Upward Stars...Outside of athletics, Ray was a member of National Honors Society, Beta Club and FCA...Ray was the FCA president.
Personal: Ray is the daughter of Gordon and Jennifer Ray...has two brothers Jacob and Ethan who are both 23. Named 2021 Miss Palmetto for the State of South Carolina.
