ANDERSON, S.C. – The Converse University volleyball team lost in straight sets 15-25, 14-25, 18-25 to Texas A&M International on Saturday afternoon at the Electric City Invitational.
 
 Converse Stats:

• Evelyn Fitz led the Valkyries offense with 9 kills in the match, while Jasmine Finkley added 6 kills against Texas A&M International.
• Finkley also led the team with a trio of blocks in the match, Savannah Ducote led the team with 12 assists and Alyssa Graf led the team with 9 digs.

 
Texas A&M International Stats:

• Guilia Hortelan posted a double-double against the Valkyries with an 11 kill, 14 dig performance.
• Mackenzie Catalina led Texas A&M International with 14 kills and Emma Lade had a team high 36 assists. 

Next Up:
Converse will open up Conference Carolinas play this week with a road match against Erskine College on Wednesday night. First serve is set for a 7:00 p.m. start time against the Flying Fleet.
