ANDERSON, S.C. – The Converse University volleyball team dropped their opening match to Alabama Huntsville in three-sets on Thursday night, 12-25, 22-25, 12-25.
With the loss, Converse drops to 1-2 on the season and Alabama Huntsville improves to 3-2 on the year. As a team the Valkyries collected 23 kills, a pair of aces, four blocks, 21 assists and 31 digs.

- Gracie McGee led the team with eight kills, Kiara Hill contributed six kills and a trio of players collected four kills in the match.
- Colby Charland led the team with 18 assists, while both McGee and Shayla Libby added 10 digs in the match.
