BRISTOL, Tenn. – In an away Conference Carolinas matchup between Converse and King, the Valkyries picked up another win to remain the only undefeated team left in the conference. Converse moves to 9-1-1 overall and 7-0 in Conference Carolinas play while King falls to 2-6-2 overall and 1-4-1 in conference action.
 
The Valkyries out shot the Tornado 22-3 throughout the whole game. The team held King to zero shots in the first half while taking eight shots themselves. In the second half, Converse put up 14 shots while the Tornado put up three.
 
Converse's lone goal was scored by Hayden Gensler, assisted by Owen Collins. This is Gensler's fifth goal of the season and Collins' first assist.
