MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – In a battle between the top two Conference Carolinas teams, no winner was crowned as the game ended in a 2-2 tie. Converse moves to 10-1-3 overall and 8-0-2 in conference play while Mount Olive moves to 9-5-1 overall and 6-3-1 in conference action.
 
Shots were evenly matched with the Valkyries taking 12 shots and the Trojans taking 10 shots. Hayden Gensler scored a goal for Converse after attempting three shots. Behind him were Felix Frenz and Sinan Kilincarslan who each took two shots with one on goal. The second goal for the Valkyries was a Trojan own goal.
 
In goal, David Windmiller had four saves from the six shots that he saw.
