Men’s Soccer Clinches Conference Carolinas Regular Season Title and Seventh Home Victory with Win over Erskine

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – It will be a night that goes down in the books as the Converse University men's soccer program was crowned the Conference Carolinas Regular Season Champions, their first in program history, after defeating Erskine 4-1 on Tuesday night. The Valkyries improve to 10-1-2 overall and 8-0-1 in conference play while the Flying Fleet falls to 1-11-1 overall and 1-7-1 in conference action.
 
Converse was on fire tonight, out shooting Erskine 23-1. The shooting clinic was headlined by Hayden Gensler as he had five shots, three shots on goal, one goal and one assist during the win. Gensler was followed by Sinan Kilincarslan who took four shots.
 
Johannes Haden, Kyle Lewis and Joel Houston each got their chance to shine as they all scored a goal while Maximilian Seiwald, Haden, Gensler and Jonathan Schrader each had assists.
