SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Fabio Pasini became the first player in Converse men's soccer history to score three-goals in one game as the Valkyries coasted to a 4-2 victory over USC Aiken on Saturday evening.
Converse (6-7-1, 2-5-0 CC) finished the week with a 3-0 record in their three game homestand. The three-game winning streak is a new program record for the Valkyries. For USC Aiken (1-11) it was their 11
th straight loss after winning their season opener against Newberry.
Pasini got the scoring started for Converse in 21
st minute after he took a pass from
Sinan Kilincarslan. With just two minutes to go in the opening half of action, Pasini found the back of the net once again off an assist by
Jonathan Schrader. The Valkyries went into the halftime break up 2-0 over the Pacers.
In the 58
th minute of action Schrader scored off a pass by
Jaxon Keene. Uri-Malcolm Young scored the Pacers first goal of the game in the 61
st minute of the contest. Just a few moments later, Wynston Johnson scored in the 74
th minute to pull USC Aiken within a score of the Valkyries. Pasini scored in the 85
th minute to complete the hat-trick and seal the victory for Converse.
Hayden Gensler picked up the assist for the Valkyries on the final goal of the night.

Converse will have a few days off before traveling to Belmont Abbey on Wednesday night. The match is scheduled for a 4:30 p.m. start in Belmont, N.C.
