The Series
Converse University and King University (Tenn.) are meeting for the 13th time since the 2005 season. The Valkyries hold a 7-4-1 advantage in the overall series and even won seven straight matchups between 2013 and 2018. The Tornado have won the last two meetings by a combined score of 2-0. The last time these two teams met, King won on a goal in the 85th minute of the contest.

  • King is coming off a 5-0 loss to UNC Pembroke this past weekend.
  • The last time the Tornado traveled they lost to Barton 6-0 on October 3rd.  
  • King is averaging 0.67 goals per game this season and they are averaging just over five shots per game.
  • The Tornado have taken 17 corner kicks this season and the King keepers have combined for 79 saves.
  • Mackenzie Winters leads the team with two goals and five points this season.
  • Erin Foster has started every game in goal for the Tornado and has made 60 saves on 143 shots faced.
