TRYON, N.C. – The Converse College equestrian team competed at the Tryon International Equestrian Center during the Upstate Extravaganza on Saturday afternoon. The event was co-hosted by Converse, Wofford, and Furman.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Lizzie Gilbert was named Reserve Champion for Cacchione Cup Points while the team finished 8th overall.
- Adara Aho turned in a brilliant performance during the Pre-Novice, placing second overall.
- Britain Hamrick also earned a second place finish while competing in Limit Fences.
- Brooke Daniels and Hailey Padula captured fourth in Novice and Pre-Novice, respectively.
- Logan Mize tallied a fifth place effort in Limit Fences.
UP NEXT
Gilbert will compete at Regionals in Open Flats and Fences on Saturday, March 7. That event will be held at Lander University in Greenwood, S.C.
