Box Score SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Sara Dorsett scored with 3:03 remaining in regulation to lift the Converse soccer team past Erskine in Conference Carolinas action, 2-1, on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
2nd Half:
- Converse started off the second half quickly firing off two shots in the first five minutes.
- Emily Barry sent a free kick into the box and found Nicole Doolittle near the post for the first goal of the contest in the 50th minute. It was Doolitte's second goal of the season and Barry's fourth assist.
- Less than three minutes later, Erskine would find the equalizer on a breakaway putting out of the outstretched reach of the keeper.
- Late in the second half, Converse would see dangerous shots by Hallie Lycans and Cassidy Marshall but were denied.
- In the 87' Marshall's shot was blocked and found the foot of Sara Dorsett near the goal and found the back of the net for her fourth goal of the season.
- Mariah Rowdy picked up the win in net for her second of the season.
1st Half:
- Erskine started off the contest quickly with back-to-back shots in the first four minutes of action but were saved by keeper Mariah Rowdy.
- Rowdy kept the Fleet out of the back of the net for the first 45 minutes of action seeing only three shots on frame in the half.
- Converse posted three shots on target in the first 45 minutes as well.
