2025 (Freshman): Appeared in 42 games making 31 starts while hitting .309 in her freshman campaign... scored 16 runs and drove in 11 runs... slugged .383 with a .406 on-base percentage... Recorded her first career hit on Jan. 31 against Limestone and her first career multi-hit game on Feb. 22 at Catawba... recorded a nine-game hit streak between game one at Lees-McRae on March 22 and game one at Young Harris on April 5

Prep: joined the Valkyries from Moscow, Idaho where she lettered four times in softball as a member of the Moscow Senior High School softball team. While competing with the Bears, she helped guide the team to the 2023 district championship and earned all-district honors as an outfielder her first three seasons. She also earned two letters in volleyball. Destined for the collegiate scene, Branen is the daughter of Joshua and Katherine Branen. Both of her parents attended the University of Montana where her father played football from 1994-97 and her mother was on the cheerleading team from 1996-98
