David Robinson is in his fourth season as the Converse University women’s soccer assistant coach and head goalkeeper coach.
Along with being the assistant coach, Robinson is currently the Early Development and Youth Development Program Director for Carolina FC, Summer Program Director for Carolina FC and a coach for the girls U17, U16, U14 and U10 teams and a coach for the boys U12 and U15 teams at Carolina FC. Robinson was also the men’s soccer JV coach at Byrnes High School from fall 2019-2021.
Robinson played high school club soccer for U8-U17 teams, was a member of the South Carolina Development Program for three years, on the Olympic Development Program Southeast Regional Team for two years and received multiple college scholarships offers including one from the University of Louisiana Monroe.
Robinson graduated from the University of South Carolina Upstate in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He continued his education at the University of Missouri of Law, graduating with his J.D. degree in 2019.
