Bonita started her career competing collegiately and retired playing professionally in Australia. She trained umpires in WA, OR, and CA including a behind the plate appearance in 2011 at the World Tournament in FL. After this, Bonita began coaching softball at an inner city high school where she fell in love with the training of underprivileged youth.
Bonita opened an indoor training facility and co-founded PS33 Academy that is now in three states, CA, UT, and AZ. At this program, she specializes in pitching, defense, hitting and the mental preparation for playing softball at an elite level.PS33 Academy has earned too 25 finishes at the PGF National Tournament in 3 separate age groups. Additionally, top 5 finishes at the Triple Crown National Tournament in 3 separate age groups as well. PS33 Academy has a successful track record of getting their athletes committed to play collegiate softball at all levels including DI, DII, DIII, NAIA and JUCCO.
