2025 Softball Summer Camps
Converse Softball Prospect Camps
Converse University Softball invites the graduating class of 2026-2027 to join us in November for our Prospect Camp on Sunday, November 2nd, from 10am-3pm. We are planning a full weekend of events and would love to have you on campus to experience a weekend in the life of a CU student-athlete! The tentative weekend schedule is as follows:
Friday, October 31st:

9:30 am: Visit with Admissions

10:00 am: Campus tour with Coaching Staff and current Converse University Softball Student Athletes

12 pm: Lunch in Gee Dining Hall (covered by Admissions) and talking with CU students
Saturday, November 1st:

Our Men's and Women's Soccer teams will be playing at home against conference rivals King University. We can offer up to 5 complimentary tickets for your family to come pack the hill to watch our teams take the victory! The women start at 2pm and the men start at 5 pm!

Sunday, November 2nd:

Campers will receive instruction and feedback on hitting drills, defensive techniques, base-running, and mental preparation. Converse Summer Softball Camps will give campers the opportunity to learn from our coaches, players, and staff. The camp will be limited to the first 50 attendees to keep the instructor-to-camp ratio low, allow for feedback, and encourage questions. Come meet our coaches and student-athletes, and spend the day with us!
Location: Weisiger Stadium behind the Gibbs Field House at Converse University (287 N. Fairview Ave, Spartanburg, SC 29302)
What to Bring: All participants must bring tennis shoes (NO CLEATS ON THE TURF), a glove, helmets, and a bat. It is recommended that you bring your own water and snacks (lunch will NOT be provided). Catchers must bring their own equipment. Pitchers, please provide your own catchers.

Weather/Rain Policy:
If the camp is canceled/does not start, a full refund will be issued. If camp begins, there will be no refunds issued.
