GREENVILLE, S.C. – Behind a new PR and a conference-best finish at the Converse Kick-Off this past Saturday, junior Ander Vera Moleres has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Vera Moleres finished Saturday's race in 23rd place, the top runner from a Conference Carolinas school. His time of 25:33.5 is a new personal best in the 8K and helped the Valkyries to an eighth-place finish overall and sixth among Division II schools.

The Valkyries return to the course on Saturday, Oct. 3, as they head to Louisville, Kentucky, to compete in the Louisville Cross Country Classic.
