GREENWOOD, Ind. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) national office announced their annual Academic At-Large All-District Team, Converse University had six athletes named to the list this year.
Ellie Lim (Delaware, Ohio) is a junior biology major with a 3.84 grade point average. Lim competed in 10 tournaments this season, averaging a 77.8 in 24 rounds of action. Finished runner-up at the Converse Spring Invite and at the Upstate Fall Intercollegiate. Shot a career low round of 72 twice this season. This is her second Academic All-District honor.
Samantha Sparks (Cazenovia, N.Y.) is a senior interior design major with a 3.64 grade point average. Sparks played and started in all 17 games for the Valkyries this season. Finished with 26 ground balls, 20 caused turnovers and 3 draw control wins. Became the all-time caused turnovers leader in program history with 88. This is her third Academic All-District honor.
Kilee Bradeen (Bradley, Maine) is a senior business administration major with a 3.54 grade point average. Bradeen was a second team all-conference selection after she made 16 starts during her senior season. Bradeen finished her senior season with nine goals, seven assists and 25 points.
Edith Swaan (Leidschendam, Netherlands) is a sophomore double major in Psychology, Health and Wellness. Swaan currently has a 3.76 grade point average. This past season, Swaan played in 17 games, scoring six goals and four assists for a total of 16 points.
Zoey Jacobs (Alpharetta, Ga.) is sophomore double majoring in Business Administration and Environmental studies. Currently has a 3.87 grade point average. Played and started in 17 games during her sophomore season at Converse. Tallied 23 goals, led the team with 40 assists and finished third on the team with 63 points. Was a Third Team All-Conference selection this season.
Abigail Skee (Charleston, S.C.) is sophomore Mathematics major with a 3.63 grade point average. Played and started in all 17 games this season for Converse. Finished the season with 141 saves and a .412 save percentage.
