NEW ORLEANS – After another stellar season that saw both the Converse University men's and women's track teams finish second at the Conference Carolinas Outdoor Championships, the teams have combined to earn 12 All-Region honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The men's team earned seven of those distinctions, while the women earned five.

The top-five individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-three relay teams.

Senior Devron Davis and freshman Neale Johnson led the way for the men with two honors each. Davis earned all-region accolades in the 100-meter dash and the 200 meters. Johnson earned the distinction in the 400-meter hurdles and the long jump. Sophomore Dre'Kevan Thomas and junior Nick Tibolla both earned the honor in the 110-meter hurdles. The final all-region honor went to the 4x100-meter relay team of junior Dorian Bomar, Davis, sophomore Xavier Dixon and senior Isaac Gilmore.

Junior Kamille Cunningham led the way for the women, earning the distinction in both the heptathlon and the high jump. Freshman Grace Davis earned the honor in the 100-meter dash. Senior Bella Martin earned the honor in the hammer throw. The final all-region honor went to the 4x100-meter relay team of Cunningham, Davis, freshman Alayah Thomas and sophomore Kennedy Wright.
