SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The No. 41 Converse University men's tennis team fell 4-3 to the No. 29 Ouachita Baptist Tigers Tuesday afternoon at the Sally Abney Rose Complex.

In doubles play, senior Marty Letessier and sophomore Lucas Walker picked up a 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles against the No. 15-ranked pairing in Division II. Freshman James Hardy and junior Manuel Roncero sealed the point with a 6-3 victory of their own.

After a Ouachita win at No. 4 singles, Letessier won a 6-0, 6-2 victory at No. 3 singles. 

The Tigers won Nos. 1, 2 and 5 singles to secure the match. Hardy secured the Valkyries' final point with a 6-4, 6-3 victory at No. 6 singles.

Next Up For Converse:
The Valkyries return to action on Friday, March 27, as they host the Mount Olive Trojans at the Rose. The match is set to begin at 1:30 P.M.
