Bomar and Davis Earn USTFCCCA All-America Honors

NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced their 2026 Indoor All-America honorees and two Valkyries earned the honor: junior Dorian Bomar and freshman Grace Davis.

Athletes of USTFCCCA member institutions who finished in the top-8 of their respective individual events and relays at the 2026 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships this past weekend in Virginia Beach, Virginia, took home First-Team All-America honors, while those who placed ninth through 16th individually and ninth through 12th as part of a relay earned Second-Team All-America.

Bomar, a junior from Spartanburg, earned Second-Team honors by tying his season and career best time in the 60-meter dash by running a time of 6.70 seconds in heat one of the championship's preliminary rounds.

Coming down to the thousandth of a second, Bomar's official time of 6.694 trailed West Texas A&M senior Isaac Botsio's time of 6.691 by just 0.003 seconds for the final spot in the national championship race.

Davis, a freshman from Greenville, is the 2026 60-meter dash national champion and a First-Team All-American, running a time of 7.26. She broke her previous best collegiate time of 7.27. She finished the championship race 0.06 seconds ahead of the runner in second place.
