MANAHAWKIN, NJ – For the first time since 2021 the Converse Field Hockey Team has been awarded the National Field Hockey Coaches Association National Academic Team Award.
Following the 2021 academic year the NFHCA changed their team grade point average from a 3.2 minimum to a 3.5 minimum. This past fall the Converse Field Hockey team hit the books and finished with a team GPA of 3.61.
A total of 19 Division II teams earned the esteemed honor from the NFHCA. Converse was one of just three South Atlantic Conference schools to earn the honor this season.
