The Series
Converse will kickoff the opening weekend of the season with a road trip to both Barton and Coker. This will be the Valkyries first ever matchup with the Bulldogs of Barton, who are in their first season of action.

This will be the 14
th all-time meeting between Converse and Coker dating back to the 2018 season. Converse has one the past seven matchups against the Cobras dating back to the 2021 season. The Valkyries are 3-3 when playing in Hartsville.

Converse Notes
- Converse was picked to finish fourth in the South Atlantic Conference Preseason Poll this year. The Valkyries went 8-9 overall last season and 6-8 in SAC competition.
- Kilee Bradeen, Remington Lewis, Chelsy Bunse, Amparo Figueroa and Sage Pilarski were all named to the SAC Preseason Watchlist.
- Bradeen and Lewis will be looking to bookend their careers with their second SAC title this season. The duo are the last remaining pair from the Valkyries last conference championship in 2022.
- Figueroa and Bunse will both look to build off All-Conference honors from a season ago. Bunse was a second team selection, while Figueroa was named to the All-SAC First Team and to the National All-Rookie team. Pilarski will look to build off a successful freshman season which saw the Pennsylvania native finish with three game-winning goals.
- Alina Puentes returns as the most experienced goalkeeper for the Valkyries. The junior has logged 757 minutes of game time, 53 saves and a 66 percent save percentage over her first two seasons. Â Â

- Barton is in their first season as a program.

Coker Notes
- Coker went 3-12 overall last season and 2-12 in South Atlantic Conference action.
- The Cobras were picked to finish seventh in the SAC preseason poll this year.
- Coker will be looking to replace Kaiya Sabur a First Team All-Conference selection a season ago and the teams leading scorer and assister.
- Skylar Ponik returns as the team's leading goal scorer with four goals from last season.
- Eve Sekscinski and Zahira Ferreyra both return with goalkeeping experience for the Cobras this season. Sekscinski saw the most action in goal last season with 439 minutes played, 55 saves and a save percentage of 61 percent. Â
