GAINESVILLE, Fla. and HIGH POINT, N.C.  – The Converse University women's track and field team split up this weekend to compete in the Florida Relays, hosted by the University of Florida, and the VertKlasse Meeting, hosted by High Point University.

Notes:

• Senior Eseose Okoduwa ran a new school and personal record in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.70.
• Freshman Peyton MacMillan ran a time of 2:32.96 in the 800 meters over in High Point.
• Junior Ruth Spijker continued her bounce-back from injury with an 11th place finish  in the 1,500 meters.
• Senior Ashley Sosa and junior Lauren Beatty finished seventh and 12th in the 5,000 meters with times of 18:57.64 and 19:15.40.
• Sophomore Paisley Stepp finished seventh in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a season-best time of 12:34.76. She ranks second in Conference Carolinas and 13th in the southeast region. Sophomore Mackenzie Crandell finished the event with a time of 13:13.44, also a season-best time for the Woodruff native.
