SPARTANBURG, S.C.  – The Converse University men's tennis team (12-5, 7-2 Conference Carolinas) capped off the 2025 regular season with a 4-3 victory over the King University Tornado (8-11, 1-7 Conference Carolinas) Wednesday afternoon at the Rose. It extends their already program record in dual-match victories this season.

Junior Stanley Waters and sophomore Takuma Furumaki took a 6-0 victory at No. 1 doubles while senior Leopold Morel and junior Marty Letessier secured a 6-2 victory at No. 2 doubles.

Letessier won 6-1, 6-3 at No. 4 singles. Morel won 6-3 in consecutive sets at No. 6 singles.

Freshman Lucas Walker won easily 6-2, 6-1 at No. 5 singles.

Next Up For Converse:
The Valkyries await their seeding in the Conference Carolinas Men's Tennis Championship at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter. The championship begins Thursday, April 24.
