The Series:  
This will be the third all-time meeting between Converse and Shorter dating back to the 2018 season. The teams have each won on the others home court in the series.  
 
Converse Notes:

• The Converse volleyball team is 19-7 overall and 14-4 in Conference Carolinas action.
• The Valkyries are 7-5 this season in road matches and they are coming off a 3-1 loss to Belmont Abbey on Wednesday evening.
• Alysha Arroyo was named Conference Carolinas Specialist of the Week for the second straight week. Arroyo reset the program record with 59 assists against North Greenville on Tuesday. On Friday, the junior recorded 53 assists against UNC Pembroke and tied her career high in blocks with four. On Saturday, she recorded a team high eight kills against UVA Wise.     
• The Valkyries currently lead the conference in aces per set (2.23), hitting percentage (.230), and kills per set (13.22).
• Alayah Robertson currently leads the conference in hitting percentage (.382), while Noemia Chiacchio leads the conference in aces per set (0.55) and total aces (51).
• As a team the Valkyries are averaging 13.2 kills per set, 12.1 assists per set, 2.1 service aces per set, 16.7 digs per set and 1.6 blocks per set.
• Robertson leads the team with 259 kills, Ariel Bryant is second on the team with 226 kills and Bree Lyons is third on the team with 221 kills. 
• Alysha Arroyo leads the team with 902 assists, while Chiacchio leads the team with 50 service aces. 
• Chiacchio leads the team with 489 digs, Lilli Redifer is second on the team with 212 digs and Lyons is third on the team with 194 digs. Robertson leads the team with 80 blocks and Ava Trentman is second on the team with 38 blocks.

 
Shorter Notes:

• Shorter is 14-12 overall and 11-7 in Conference Carolinas play this season. The Hawks are 6-3 at home this season, however, they have lost six straight matches.
• Most recently, Shorter is coming off a 3-2 loss to North Greenville on Wednesday evening.
• Shorter is averaging 12.5 kills per set, 11.5 assists per set, 1.6 service aces per set, 17.8 digs per set and 1.3 blocks per set.
• Victoria Sparks leads the team with 279 kills on the season, Caroline Sivills is second on the team with 209 kills and Taylor-Reese Howell is third on the team with 182 kills.
• Brooke Thao leads the team with 439 assists and Helena Kelley is second on the team with 411 assists. Three players currently lead the team with 26 service aces each.
• Sparks leads the team with 289 digs, Claudia Loyola is second on the team with 282 digs and Thao is third on the team with 220 digs.
• Ava Medina leads the team with 40 blocks on the season, while Audrey Brooks and Sivills are second on the team with 34 blocks each.
