SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Converse University equestrian team is headed to Aiken, S.C., this weekend for the College of Charleston/Wofford Show on Saturday and Sunday.
Last time out the Valkyries equestrian team finished fifth out of 11 teams and had a pair of athletes qualify for the Region Show at the end of the season.
Day One,
Halle Aho won the Limit Flat event and qualified for regionals.
Nora Warren finished second in the PreNovice Flat event and
Shannon Goldy placed second in the Limit Fences event.
Anna Mallen placed third in the Novice Flat event and Goldy, also placed third in the Limit Flat event.
Day Two,
Lani Pardue finished second in the Intermediate Fences event and Goldy finished third in the Limit Fences event.
Sarah Lawler won the PreNovice Flat event and
Bailey Smith finished third in the same event.
Anna Mallen finished fourth in the Novice Flat event and qualified for regionals.
