The Series:  
This will be the 12^th all-time meeting between Converse and UNC Pembroke dating back to the 2013 season. Pembroke is 9-2 all-time against the Valkyries, however, Converse defeated UNC Pembroke last season in the Conference Carolinas Tournament Championship Match.
 
This will be just the second ever meeting between Converse and UVA Wise. The Valkyries won the only other meeting 3-0 back in 2009.
 
Converse Notes:

• The Converse volleyball team is 17-6 overall and 13-3 in Conference Carolinas action.
• Converse has won four straight matches and they are coming off a 3-1 win over North Greenville on Tuesday evening. With the Valkyries win against the Trailblazers they clinched the Northwest Division Title for the second straight season.
• The Valkyries broke a trio of school records against North Greenville on Tuesday; Team kills in a match (69), team assists in a match (69) and Alysha Arroyo assists in a match (59).
• Arroyo was named Conference Carolinas Specialist of the Week for her efforts on the court last week against Emmanuel, Barton and Chowan.  
• The Valkyries currently lead the conference in aces per set (2.28), team service aces (194), hitting percentage (.231), and kills per set (13.14).
• Robertson currently leads the conference in hitting percentage (.410), while Noemia Chiacchio leads the conference in aces per set (0.58) and total aces (49).
• As a team the Valkyries are averaging 13.3 kills per set, 12.2 assists per set, 2.2 service aces per set, 16.4 digs per set and 1.6 blocks per set.
• Robertson leads the team with 232 kills, Ariel Bryant is second on the team with 206 kills and Bree Lyons is third on the team with 192 kills.  
• Alysha Arroyo leads the team with 781 assists, while Chiacchio leads the team with 48 service aces. 
• Chiacchio leads the team with 421 digs, Lilli Redifer is second on the team with 183 digs and Lyons is third on the team with 175 digs. Robertson leads the team with 61 blocks and Ava Trentman is second on the team with 36 blocks.

 
UNC Pembroke Notes:

• UNC Pembroke is 12-12 overall and 9-5 Conference Carolinas play this season. The Braves are 7-3 at home this season but they have lost their last two matches.
• Most recently, the Braves lost to both USC Aiken and Augusta on Tuesday evening.
• UNC Pembroke is averaging 12.2 kills per set, 11.2 assists per set, 1.8 aces per set, 16.8 digs per set and 1.7 blocks per game.
• Abby Peduzzi leads the team with 252 kills this season, Addie Decker is second on the team with 239 kills and Savannah Whaley is third on the team with 172 kills.
• Tyler Patterson leads the team with 560 assists and Emily Collings is second on the team with 310 assists. Peduzzi also leads the team with 42 service aces, while Brette Doile is second on the team with 31 aces.
• Doile leads the team with 286 digs on the season, Peduzzi is second on the team with 261 digs and Whaley is third on the team with 254 digs.
• Alexandria Mills leads the team with 79 blocks on the year, while McKenna Hayes is second on the team with 43 blocks.

 
UVA Wise Notes:

• UVA Wise is 12-10 overall and 6-7 in South Atlantic Conference action this season. The Cavaliers have won two straight matches, however, they are just 2-5 in away games this year.
• The Cavaliers are coming off a 3-1 win over Mars Hill on Saturday afternoon. UVA Wise will play Anderson the night before playing Converse.
• UVA Wise is averaging 12.0 kills per set, 11.4 assists per set, 1.8 service aces per set, 16.9 digs per set and 2.2 blocks per set.
• Mia Poag leads the team with 208 kills, Morgan Blankenship is second on the team with 164 kills and Riley Brandon is third on the team with 114 kills.
• Piper Suddeth leads the team with 342 assists, Madilyn Pardue is second on the team with 213 assists and Riley Brandon is third on the team with 206 assists.
• Blankenship leads the team with 23 service aces and two players are tied for second with 21 aces each.
• Curtis leads the team with 371 digs, Poag is second on the team with 228 digs and Brandon is third on the team with 124 digs. Annabelle Dowell leads the team with 48 blocks and Mable James is second on the team with 46 blocks.
