GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Conference Carolinas conference office announced the annual coaches poll and players to watch for the 2025 season, Converse University was selected fifth overall.
 
Converse received 55 total points in this year's standings, and finished in front of Mars Hill, Emmanuel and King. Wingate, Francis Marion and Newberry rounded out the bottom half of this year's poll. Limestone won this season's preseason poll with 108 total points and 10 first place votes. Lander finished second in the poll with 87 total points and one first place vote, followed by Coker and Belmont Abbey.
 
Ayanna Manning (Abingdon, Maryland), was selected as a player to watch for the Valkyries this season. Manning is a three-time first team All-Conference Carolinas selection, and is the former NCATA and Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year in 2022. Chloe Cleland (Medina, Ohio) was selected this season as a player to watch, the senior is a two-time Second Team All-Conference selection. Madison Seymour (Lockport, Illinois) the reigning Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year was the final Valkyrie selection as a player to watch.
