The Series:
This will be the sixth all-time meeting between Converse and Southern Wesleyan dating back to the 2021-22 season. Head Coach Nick Pasqua is personally 5-0 in the series, going 2-0 against the Valkyries during the 2021-2022 season, and then going 3-0 against the Warriors starting in the 2022-23 season. Converse has won three straight matchups in the series and currently holds a 3-2 record in the all-time series. Last time out, the Valkyries defeated the Warriors 84-54 inside the Weisiger Center.
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 16-8 overall and 8-6 in Conference Carolinas action. The Valkyries are coming off a heartbreaking 82-77 overtime loss to King on Tuesday evening.    
• CJ Jamison led the team with 28-points, Uzziah Dawkins finished second on the team with 18-points and Ben Jones had a career high 10-points off the bench.
• Converse is averaging 79.8 points per game this season, while shooting 47 percent from the field, 37 percent from three-point range and 72 percent from the free throw line.
• The Valkyries are averaging 34.7 rebounds per game, 15.8 assists per game, 8.0 steals per game and 1.6 blocks per game.
• Dawkins leads the team with 19.5 points per game, Jamison is second on the team with 16.2 points per game and Burgess III is third on the team with 8.4 points per game.
• Jamison leads the team with 132 rebounds on the season and 41 steals on the year. Joel Pullen has a team best 85 assists so far this season for the Valkyries.

 
Southern Wesleyan Notes:

• Southern Wesleyan is 4-20 overall and 3-11 in Conference Carolinas play this season. The Warriors broke a six game losing streak on Wednesday night with a 77-75 win over Young Harris.
• Five different players ended the game in double-figures, Jonathan Taylor had a team high 16-points, Marcus Long had 15-points, Che Smith contributed 14-points, Reco Hallmon added 12-points and Eric Hackett finished with 11-points.
• Southern Wesleyan is averaging 70.3 points per game, shooting 41 percent from the field, 33 percent from three-point range and 63 percent from the free throw line.
• The Warriors are averaging 33.9 rebounds per game, 13.0 assists per game, 6.4 steals per game and 1.9 blocks per game.
• Eric Hackett leads the team with 9.5 points per game this season, Aaron Tims is second on the team with 9.3 points per game and Reco Hallmon is third on the team with 8.7 points per game.
• Dyren Brown leads the team with 113 rebounds, Griffin Effenberger leads the team with 54 assists and Raevon Allen has a team high 33 steals.
