In his second season at the helm of the Converse Men's Basketball program, Pasqua led the Valkyries to the most in wins in program history with an 18-11 overall record. The Valkyries made the postseason tournament for the second straight year as the #7 seed and held a 10-8 conference record. Pasqua guided the program to the best start in program history, with an 8-0 start, and a #22 National Ranking in the coaches poll. The Valkyries were ranked in 11 of 13 region polls this season and ranked a program high #4 in back-to-back weeks in early December. In the home opener against Morris (11/18), Pasqua's squad set a new program record for points in a game with 115. The team also set program records for Points in a season (2,304), Scoring Average (79.4), Field Goals Made (819), Field Goal Percentage (.469), 3-pt Field Goals Made (265), 3-pt Field Goal Percentage (.362), Scoring Defense (72.7), and Scoring Margin (6.8). Pasqua coached Uzziah Dawkins to a First Team All-Conference accolade, a NABC Southeast Second Team All-District selection, a D2CCA Second Team All-Southeast Region selection, all first's in program history.
In his first season at Converse, Pasqua led the Valkyries to their best season in program history with a 15-15 overall record and a 12-8 record in Conference Carolinas play. Pasqua coached the Valkyries to there first ever berth in the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Championship as the #6 seed in the tournament. The Valkyries 81-78 win over Francis Marion in the second round of the Conference Carolinas Tournament, was the Valkyries first ever postseason win and there first ever home postseason win in program history. Pasqua, also coached the Valkyries to their best home record in program history with an 11-2 mark, at one point in the season the Valkyries had won 10-straight games inside the Weisiger Center. On February 15th, Pasqua's squad set a new program record for points in a game with 104 against King University. Pasqua's team set program records for Games in a season (30), Points in a season (2,189), Scoring average (73.0), Field Goals Made (756), Field Goal Percentage (.460), 3-pt Field Goals Made (226), 3-pt Field Goal Percentage (.350), Free Throws made (451), Free Throws attempted (636), Rebounds (1075), Rebounding average (35.8), Defensive Rebounds (785), Defensive Rebounds Average (26.2), Offensive Rebounds (290), Offensive Rebounds Average (9.7), Scoring Defense (73.7), Scoring Margin (-0.7), Rebounding Defense (31.6) and Rebounding margin (4.2). Had two players named to the All-Conference Team, Bosko Bojovic (Second Team), Uzziah Dawkins (Third Team). Bojovic was also named Conference Carolina Player of the Week and Conference Carolina Defensive Player of the Week on two different occasions.
Pasqua becomes just the second head men's basketball coach in program history at Converse and takes over a first-year program that went 6-22 overall and 5-19 in Conference Carolinas play. Pasqua is very familiar with Converse having coached against the Valkyries this past season as the head coach of Southern Wesleyan University.
Pasqua has spent the last four seasons at Southern Wesleyan University and has compiled an overall record of 50-52 in five total seasons. In just his second year at Southern Wesleyan, Pasqua guided the Warriors to a 20-win season and boasted the largest turnaround in the country at any NCAA level after winning just games the previous season. That same season, the Warriors won the school's first ever Conference Carolinas Tournament Championship and earned their first ever bid to the NCAA tournament.
Under the tutelage of Pasqua, seven Warriors earned All-Conference honors and four earned All-Tournament recognition, including one tournament MVP. This past season, the Warriors won a Division II era record 18 games in the regular season and won a Division II era record 16 games in the conference regular season. Southern Wesleyan also posted their first ever win over a top-five opponent this season, with a win over No. 5 UNC Pembroke.
Prior to his coaching stop in the Palmetto State, Pasqua was the head coach at Tusculum College during the 2016-17 season. In his one season at Tusculum, the Pioneers set a school record for most three-pointers made and attempted in a season. Before taking over at Tusculum College, Pasqua served on the coaching staff at King University for nine years.
Pasqua was a four-year starter on the hardwood at King from 2004-2008. Pasqua was a member of two Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament championship teams and the 2007-2008 AAC regular season championship team. He earned All AAC first team accolades, was named to the AAC All-Defensive Team and the AAC All-Academic Team. He accumulated 1,300 points and 500 assists during his Tornado career.
The Alcoa, Tennessee native graduated from King in 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in sport management and earned his teacher certification from Lincoln Memorial University in 2010.
He and his wife Spenser are the proud parents of their sons Hudson, Lincoln and daughters Riley and Harley Grace.
