ANDERSON, S.C. – The Converse University Lacrosse team faced off against first year program Anderson University on Wednesday night at Spero Financial Field and saw their two-game winning streak come to a close.
With the loss Converse falls to 2-3 on the season, while Anderson improves to 4-2 on the year. The 28-4 loss was the worst of the season for the Valkyries and their 28 goals allowed set a new program record.
The Trojans scored 10 goals in the first quarter, 8 goals in the second quarter, 4 goals in the third quarter and 6 goals in the fourth quarter. While the Valkyries scored 3 goals in the first and one goal in the fourth.
The Valkyries will stay on the road this weekend with a trip to North Carolina to face Chowan. The game is scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m.
