Greenville, SC- Laureen Roussel was named the Conference Carolinas Women's Swimmer of the Week.

Laureen Roussel is a Freshman from Fontenilles, France. Roussel won the 400 IM with a time of 4:54.98, the 50 breaststroke with a time of 31.51, the 200 breast with a time of 2:30.23, and the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay team that won with a time of 1:43.86

Laureen Roussel had this to say "I am super grateful to get Conference Carolinas Swimmer of the Week, and I can't wait to keep growing and competing." 

Coach Logan Simpson had this to say "I am so proud of Laureen. From the day she stepped on campus, she's proven herself to be a hard worker and a talented athlete. It's always great to see deserving athletes being recognized for their work, and that is what's happening here. Laureen has had an excellent start to her collegiate career, and I firmly believe that this is only the beginning."

The Converse swim team will be back in action November 16th-18th at the Georgia Small College Championships.
