Women’s Soccer Fights to the End Against North Greenville

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – A motivated Converse Valkyries women's soccer team showed they cannot be forgotten about as they kept up with No. 1 ranked North Greenville in tonight's Conference Carolinas matchup. The 2-0 win for the Crusaders came in the second half from Dani Avelar and Kayla Cruse.
 
The loss pushes the Valkyries to 2-8 overall and 0-6 in conference play while the Crusaders advance to 6-2-1 overall and 6-0 in conference action.
 
Kaylee Couder led Converse with three shots tonight, followed by Raegan Cash who had one shot. Daelynn Perry ended the night with 12 saves after North Greenville put up 20 shots.
