EMORY, Va. – The Converse University women's soccer team picked up its first road win of the season on Friday evening against Emory & Henry by a score of 1-0. Kaylee Couder scored the lone goal for the Valkyries very early on in the first half from a penalty kick. Converse moves to 2-2 on the season while Emory & Henry falls to 0-1.
 
Skylar Lund led the team with two shots, one on goal, while Isabella Boccia, Cailey Owens, Kiersten Schrawyer, Olivia Giarrizzi and Couder each had one. Daelynn Perry added another win to her name while making four saves throughout the night.
