SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Converse University women's lacrosse team dropped a 25-1 decision to Belmont Abbey on Tuesday night at Weisiger Stadium.

For the first time in two games senior Libby Stevens (Spartanburg, S.C.) found the back of the net for the Valkyries offense. Meanwhile, Brenna Everette (Mechanicsville, Va.) led the Valkyries with four shots on goal against the Crusaders. Junior goalkeeper Madalynn Brunner (Jacksonville, N.C.) made 15 saves on Tuesday night, while Reagan Collins (Spartanburg, S.C.) came in and made a pair of saves in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter.
