Game 1 Notes:

Madeline Modica grounded out to third on her at-bat, but Ballard was able to advance all the way to third on the throw. Faith Hauser's single would allow Ballard to score the solo run of the inning.
  • Bottom – Brooke Scruggs would single to right field, and Brooklyn McElarth would follow with a single of her own, advancing Scruggs to second. Finazzo reached first on a fielder's choice while Scruggs was thrown out on her advance to third. Ballard would send home McElrath and Finazzo on her double RBI single to right field to make it a tied ballgame. Belle Roper's double to center field would push Ballard home. Roper was able to steal third and eventually run home as Emily Ingle doubled to center field. Ingle's single RBI would give the Valkyries the 5-3 lead.
  • Bottom 5 – Finazzo was up to bat and swung at her first pitch, sending the ball out of the park for her first home run on the 2022 season and the Valkyries first home run of the year, giving Converse the three-run lead.
  • Top 7 – The Koloas would score eight runs to win game one by a score of 16-6.
Game 2 Notes:
  • Bottom 2 – Converse would be down 3-0 with Hauser up to bat. She would walk and then steal second during Aaliayh Newman's at-bat. Scruggs would single to center field, allowing Hauser to get a run up on the board for the Valkyries.
  • Top 4 – The Koalas scored three runs in the inning to make it a 6-1 game.
  • Bottom 4 – In an effort to come close to Columbia's lead, Hauser would walk again and steal second during Newman's at-bat. Newman would be thrown out at first, but it allowed Hauser to get to third. Modica's single to center field would send Hauser home to put another run on the board for the Valkyries. Maggie Griffis singled to left field and would advance to second on the throw while Modica was able to reach third. McElrath single to left field and then would advance to second on the throw.
