BRISTOL, Tenn. – Converse University women's soccer team drew 1-1 with King on Wednesday afternoon. The Valkyries move to 3-9-1 overall and 0-7-1 in Conference Carolinas play. The Tornado is now 1-7-3 overall and 1-3-3 in the Conference Carolinas.
Shots were pretty evenly matched between King and Converse with the Tornado ultimately out shooting the Valkyries 11-8. For Converse,
Kiersten Schrawyer scored the sole goal, leading the team with two shots and one shot on goal.
Shelby McCutchen followed with two shots of her own. In goal,
Daelynn Perry added six saves to her name.
