BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Converse University volleyball team fell 3-0 to King on Tuesday evening in the King Student Center Complex.
 
Converse Notes:

• The Valkyries recorded 43 points, 33 kills, 6 aces, 4 blocks, 32 assists and 59 digs against the Tornado.
• Converse recorded 12 kills in both the second and third sets and finished with a .140 hitting percentage.
• Evelyn Fitz led the team with 11 kills on the night, Jasmine Finkley recorded 10 kills and Maddie Mount added 5 kills in the loss.
• Finkley had a team high 3 blocks, while Mackenzie Day and Anna Rabon tied for the team lead with 2 aces each.
• Savannah Ducote recorded 22 assists on the night and Day posted a team high 11 digs against the Tornado.

 
King Notes:

• The Tornado recorded 58 points, 44 kills, 4 aces, 10 blocks, 41 assists and 55 digs against the Valkyries.
• King recorded 17 kills in the second set and finished with a .252 hitting percentage.
• Hailee Blankenship recorded a team high 12 kills and two aces in the win. Abigale Jayne finished second on the team with 9 kills and Gracia Love finished third on the team with 8 kills.
• Abigail Belcher led the team with 5 blocks, while Katie Harless posted a team high 22 assists against the Valkyries. Clair Wilson led the team with 14 digs, while Blankenship rounded out her double-double with 11 digs on the evening.
