Spartanburg, SC- A red hot Mount Olive team visited Weisiger Gymnasium this afternoon to take on Converse in a pivotal Conference Carolinas matchup. The Trojans entered the day on a 3-game win streak and had been playing their best volleyball of the season. The Valkyries answered the task and did so in sweeping fashion.
Elizabeth Coffey recorded a season high 9 kills while hitting .562 in what was a total team offensive performance.
Savannah Ducote recorded another double double with 29 assists and 11 digs as
Jasmine Finkley and
Kiara Cannon were active offensively with 8 kills a piece. Liz Yohe steadied the Valkyrie defense with 21 digs (7/set) as they did not allow the Trojans to score more than 20 points in any set.

-Converse has clinched at least a 5th place seed in the Conference Carolinas Tournament. A Mount Olive loss and a win for the Valkyries Tuesday could propel them to 4th place.
-With the win today, Converse clinched their highest conference winning percentage since joining DII.
