Spartanburg, SC- Kiara Cannon recorded 14 kills matching a career high and Brittany Tepedino collected her 6th consecutive double double with 12 kills and 14 digs but the Valkyries would eventually fall in 4 sets to King. The first set was controlled by Converse as they only committed 3 errors to the Tornado's 9. King would bounce back, however, as they won 3 straight sets to take the match behind a steady attack (182 attacks) that would wear Converse down. Pushing King to 4 sets tonight ended a streak of 5 consecutive matches in which they had won 3-0. Converse will look to regroup quickly and regain their form heading into the final stretch of the season.
