Volleyball Weekend Wrap Up

FLORENCE, S.C. – The Converse University volleyball team went 0-2 this past weekend with road losses to Francis Marion and Erskine.

The Valkyries are now 3-13 overall and 3-4 in Conference Carolinas action. While the Valkyries have played great at home this season, outside the friendly confines of Hannah Gymnasium the Valkyries have struggled. Converse is now 1-6 in true road games this season and 0-7 in neutral site games.

On Friday evening the Valkyries played one of the top-teams in the conference when they faced off against top-ranked Francis Marion. While on Saturday afternoon the Valkyries faced a more evenly matched Erskine squad in Due West, S.C.
