Awards: 2024 D2CCA Third Team All-American, 2024 D2CCA First Team All-Region, 2024 Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Year, 2024 First Team All-Conference, 2024 Conference Carolinas Tournament MVP, 2024 Conference Carolinas All-Tournament Team, 2022 CSC Academic All-District. 

2024 (Grad): Played and started in 33 matches this season for a total of 128 sets as the Valkyries starting Libero...tallied 30 points, 6 kills, 159 assists, 24 service aces, 748 digs, 5.84 digs per set, and a .936 reception error...Finished second in the nation in digs this season, and fifth in the nation in digs per set...Concludes her Converse career as the all-time leader for digs in a match (46), digs in a season (748), and digs in a career (2,000)...Day becomes the first player in program history to record 2,000 career digs. 

2023 (Senior): Played and started in all 30 matches for a total of 110 sets this season as the Valkyries Libero...tallied 32 points, 6 kills, 89 assists, 26 service aces, 494 digs and posted a .950 reception percentage. Had a career high 35 digs against King (11/3/2023) and had nine matches with at least 20 digs for the second straight season. 

2022 (Junior): Played in 28 matches for a total of 104 sets this season as the primary libero for the Valkyries...tallied 19.0 points, 2 kills, 77 assists, 17 service aces, 455 digs and posted a .917 reception average...Posted a career high 31 assists against UNC Pembroke (10/2/22) and had nine matches of at least 20 digs. 

Fall 2021 (Sophomore): Made 26 appearances and started 11 matches during her sophomore season...Recorded 21 total points, 4 kills, 25 assists and 17 service aces...finished third on the team with 202 total digs and 2.30 digs per set...recorded a season high 25 digs against Lees-McRae (10/22/21). 

Spring 2021 (Freshman): Made an appearance in all 11 matches this season for a total of 42 sets...recorded 2 kills, 10 assists, 13 service aces and 101 digs. 

Prep: Day was a four year starter for the Flora volleyball team and was a 2017 All-Region selection...Day played club volleyball for S.C. Midlands and Magnum...Off the court, Day was a member of National Honors Soceity and Key Club.

Personal: Mackenzie is the daughter of David and Jennifer Day...has two brothers, Colin-16 and Ethan-14...Grandfather David Day played basketball at Duke University.
