The Series
This is will be just the second matchup in program history between Frostburg State and Converse University. The last time these two teams met the Bobcats came away with a 2-1 victory over the Valkyries on their home field. This will be the Valkyries first ever trip to Bobcat Stadium.
 
Converse Notes:

• The Valkyries are 5-5 overall this season and 5-3 in South Atlantic/Conference Carolinas play.
• Converse is coming off a 2-1 win over #10 Limestone on Tuesday evening at McCracken Field. For Converse it was their first ever sweep of Limestone and it marked the first time the Valkyries had swept back-to-back top-10 opponents in the same week.  
• Mira Polzer scored the opening goal of the night on a pass from Catalina Pistaccio. Following a Limestone goal, Pistaccio scored off an outlet pass from Lotte Kanters to give the Valkyries the win.  
• Anita Planella played the entire game in goal and made a pair of saves to preserve the Valkyries win.
• The Valkyries are averaging 1.60 goals per game and average just over 13 shots per contest.
• Converse has attempted 62 corners this season and the Valkyrie goalkeepers have combined for 29 saves on the season.
• Mira Polzer leads the conference and the team in assists with seven on the season. The German native currently ranks third nationally in assists per game (0.78). Polzer leads the team in total shots (27) and shots on goal (16). Polzer is second on the team in total points with 11 on the season.   
• South Atlantic Conference Player of the Week Lotte Kanters leads the team in goals scored (5), points (12) and game-winning goals (2).
• The Valkyries have had nine different goal scorers this season and six different players have attributed assists.
• Two-time player of the week Ciriaca Petitto has made a trio of starts in goal this season for the Valkyries. Petitto has made 14 saves and has posted an .824 save percentage. 

Frostburg State Notes:

• Frostburg State is 1-10 this season, with their lone win coming against Seton Hill on September 28^th.
• Since the Bobcats lone win, Frostburg State has lost to Kutztown, Bloomsburg and Lindenwood.
• The Bobcats have scored just seven goals this season and they are averaging just over five shots per contest.
• Frostburg State has attempted 44 penalty corners this season and the Bobcat goalkeepers have made 98 saves on the year.
• A trio of players are currently tied for the team lead in total points (3), while seven different players have scored a goal for the Bobcats this year.
• Madison Manalansan has started every game for the Bobcats this season, Manalansan has made 88 saves on 209 shots faced.
