Barmore is in his first season as an assistant coach for Converse.
Barmore is a native of Seneca, S.C. where he starred at Seneca High School. During his standout high school career, Barmore was a three-time Region Player of the Year and was the starting point guard fort eh North vs South All-Star Game. Barmore scored over 2,000 points in his prep career, while leading his team to four straight Regional Championships.
Barmore went on to play Division I basketball at Liberty University, where he began his collegiate career before transferring to USC Aiken for his final two seasons. Xzavier played in 56 games at USC Aiken averaging 18.5 points per game, 3.5 steals per game and 4.5 assists per game. Barmore led the Peach Belt Conference in assists. The Palmetto State native was a First Team All-Conference selection both seasons at USC Aiken and made the Peach Belt All-Tournament team. Barmore still holds the Peach Belt Tournament record for assists in a tournament. Barmore was also named a Preseason Division II All-American.
After college, Xzavier continued his basketball journey professionally, playing overseas for three years, gaining international experience and further developing his game. Following his playing career, he began sharing his knowledge and passion for the game by training and mentoring players, helping them develop their skills and reach their full potential. He has worked with athletes at the highest levels fo the game, continuing to make an impact beyond the court.
