This is Meyer's fifth year at Converse University and is currently the primary contact for all men's basketball, volleyball, field hockey, lacrosse, golf, equestrian, acrobatics & tumbling, and swim teams.

Since the Fall of 2021, Meyer has revitalized the Converse University Athletic Communications Department. The Palmetto State native oversees an office of three full time staff members and together the trio produce media publications and content for all 21 sports teams. Since, Meyer started working at Converse the Social Media channels have grown immensely over the last four years, including the Facebook page (814 new followers) and the Instagram account (1,832 new followers). Meyer has also grown the webstreaming at Converse from 25 broadcasts a year to 118 broadcasts during the 2023-24 academic year. Meyer's department has won a total of 15 national awards from the College Sports Communicators Creative & Digtial Design Contest since the 2021-2022 academic school year. Meyer currently serves on the Division II Southeast Regional Advisory Committee for Men's Tennis (Spring 2022 - Present), the Converse Events Committee, the Valkyries Choice Awards Committee, and the Converse Athletics Hall of Fame Committee. Meyer just recently finished a two-year term (2023-2025) on the Staff Council at Converse University.     

Meyer makes his way to Converse after spending the previous three seasons at the University of South Carolina Upstate (Dec. 2018- June 2021). As the Associate Athletic Communications Director, Meyer was the primary contact for Men's Basketball, Softball, Women's Soccer, Men's Golf, Women's Golf, Men's Tennis and Women's Tennis. Meyer also, worked with Women's Basketball, Baseball, Men's Soccer, Volleyball, Cross Country and the Track & Field programs over his tenure at Upstate. While at Upstate, Meyer oversaw all the Athletic Department media publications from media guides, gamenotes, releases, interviews and ran the website. Meyer also, oversaw the USC Upstate Hall of Fame nominations, publications and media inquiries in his final two years. Meyer also worked closely with the Student-Athlete end of the year award banquet. In the Spring of 2021, Meyer was the lead contact for the first ever ESPNU softball broadcast at USC Upstate. Also in the Spring of 2021, Meyer and the Director of Video Ryan Davis collaborated on their award winning Softball Hype Video which placed third nationally in the CoSIDA Digital Contest. While at Upstate, Meyer oversaw a team of student workers and game day staff. Meyer also, oversaw the athletic communication budget and helped collaborate on the new website design for upstatespartans.com. 

Prior to his time at USC Upstate, Meyer was the Sports Information Director at Ouachita Baptist University (Arkadelphia, Ark.) and was the primary contact for all 14 varsity sports. While at Ouachita, Meyer oversaw all athletic department media publications from print to digital. Meyer covered the Great American Conference Championship runs for the nationally ranked football team and men's soccer team. While at Ouachita, Meyer worked closely with the NCAA to livestream a nationally televised game against Southern Arkansas for the Great American Conference Championship. As a host school for the 2018 NCAA Division II Football Second Round and Quarterfinal Playoff Games, Meyer was the primary media contact and statistician for both games. While at Ouachita, Meyer oversaw a team of student workers and game day staff, and also collaborated on a new design and layout for obutigers.com. Meyer also, collaborated on the first ever livestream production of sporting events at Ouachita Baptist. 

Prior to Ouachita Baptist, Meyer worked six years as a graduate and student assistant at Carson-Newman University. As a graduate assistant, Meyer was the primary contact for the men's tennis, women's tennis, cross country and beach volleyball programs. Meyer wrote releases, composed highlights and conducted interviews for his assigned sports, while also creating graphic for various social media platforms. Meyer also stated multiple sporting events at Carson-Newman ranging from Football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, softball and tennis. As a student worker, Meyer filled in as a student broadcaster, public address announcer, director and a camera operator for the Eagle Sports Network. Meyer graduated from Carson-Newman with his BA in Communications (2016) and his MBA (2018). 

Outside of Carson-Newman, Meyer worked with the award winning paper the Standard Banner as a sports reporter. In 2017, the unit earned the Tennessee State Press Award for best Sports Coverage.
