Shipp is entering her second season as an Assistant Coach for the Valkyries Equestrian team. 

In her first season at Converse, Shipp helped coach Nowicki guide three athletes to Regionals, with two athletes advancing to Zones. Halle Aho became the programs second All-American and the first since 1992 when she became the IHSA National Reserve Champion in the Introductory Equitation Event.

Prior to coaching, Shipp was a four-year member of the Converse Equestrian team (2021-2025) and qualified for Regionals in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
