Micha Reed is the Cross Country and Track & Field Graduate Assistant specializing in 400m & distance. Reed’s hometown is Decatur, IL and he graduated from Indian Hills Community College in 2021 with an Associate’s degree. Reed comes to Converse after graduating from Troy University in 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with minors in Business, Psychology, and Human Athletic Performance. Reed received the 2022 Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll and 2022 Ragin Cajun Student-Athlete Honor Roll awards. Reed placed 5th in the Indoor Sun Belt Conference 800m in 2022. In the 2020-21 year, Reed made it to the NJCAA National Qualifier in 600, 800, 4x800m, and 4x400m Reed placed 3rd in the NJCAA All-American 4x800m. In 2019 Reed placed 2nd in the IHSA Track & Field State Championships for the 800m. Reed’s personal best is 1:53.14 in the 800m.
